Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain, October 25, 1881 and died April 8, 1973 (91 years) in Mougins, France, is a painter, illustrator and sculptor Spanish1 having spent most of his life in France.
Artist using all media for his work, he is considered the founder of Cubism with Georges Braque and Surrealist Art companion. It is one of the most important artists of the twentieth century, both in its technical and formal contributions by its political positions. It produced nearly 50,000 works, including 1,885 paintings, 1,228 sculptures, 2,880 ceramics, 7,089 drawings, 342 tapestries, 150 sketchbooks and 30,000 prints (etchings, lithographs, etc.)
